![]() Bombardier expects the Global 8000 to enter service in 2025. The aircraft’s development program is progressing on schedule, according to reports. The seats, called Nuage, are the first in the industry to feature a zero-gravity position to enhance passenger comfort and relaxation. This configuration includes a master suite with a fully flat bed and a shower. The Bombardier Global 8000 business jet delivers unsurpassed range, speed and short field capabilities, connecting leaders to more destinations faster. The aircraft can be configured with a quadruple space division, each one equipped with ergonomically designed seats to maximize the available space. As an example, it specified that the Global 8000’s cabin characteristics make it possible to experience the sensation of being at an altitude of 2,900 feet when the aircraft is flying at 41,000 feet, a typical cruising level. In this regard, it stated that it offers the «lowest cabin altitude» in the market. The manufacturer also highlighted the aircraft’s pressurization system. In addition, the new model features the Soleil lighting system, also available on the Global 7500, which helps to reduce the impact of time zone changes and lessen the effect of jet lag. In fact, in flight tests, it has broken the sound barrier. The aircraft, which was unveiled in a high-energy event at the EBACE show in Geneva, is expected to be the fastest civil aircraft since the Concorde. On the other hand, Bombardier highlighted the characteristics of the aircraft’s cabin, which is equipped with the proprietary Pũr Air system and advanced HEPA filter technology. Bombardier launched its Global 8000 jet, which can connect cities 8,000 nautical miles apart at an unprecedented speed of Mach 0.94.
